Luke 16:1-9 is sometimes called the parable of the dishonest manager. It's one of Jesus' more challenging parables where he uses the example of a unrighteous person to teach his disciples. So what's the lesson? Jesus is teaching his disciples to be streetwise like the people of this world, but with a very different end and goal in mind, namely eternal life.
